23970e333b87d710075848fea0a923cdYes please… creating a haven, your own sacred space isnt hard…

the most important part of the process is just getting there, breathing & listening to your heart, the deepest part of your soul that is connected with all things…

Step1. Choose the place – DONT PANIC if you feel you dont have an idyllic nature space at home to do this… you can do this on the train, or at work, by simply closing your eyes and tuning the hubbub around you out, and tuning IN to your breath and the silent stillness inside you. You can throw on some headphones for meditation or you can just take a walk outside in the park out side at work during your lunch break. Ideally though its great to have a place at home, either a room, a special chair in the corner of your bedroom, a special corner of your verandah or living room. Anywhere where you can feel yourself STOP will do.

Step 2 : Clean your Space – Give it a clean, I mean a basic floor, carpet, window sills, upholstery dust/wipeover etc. Cleanliness is next to Godliness as Ghandi says.

You can place your favourite book next to the chair and/or a journal so you can do some writing of your inner most thoughts, great ideas, or letters to past loved ones to heal old relationships.

Step 4. Schedule Time To Use it – Enough said! Place a note in your diary, either daily, or weekly to sit. Just sit… you can take a book, you dont have to read it, you can take your journal you dont have to write in it. Just sit. Even if its 15 minutes, it will make a difference, Then Commit.

Step 5. Zen You – take a quick shower or  change your clothes to clear your own energy to help you calm down before you get to your Sacred Place, this will calm your thinking and help you to transition from chaos to calm.

Create a ritual that helps you create the space and let you know you have arrived. for example Light a candle, Light some incense, pour a cup of tea. Then… the most important part of the process is just getting there, breathing & listening to your heart, listening to the deepest part of your soul that is connected with all things..

Through listening we create a rich inner world and we can begin to fill it with gratitude, compassion, forgiveness and creativity – We can then begin to…

~ Make peace with your now,

~ Accept your past and

~ Have Gratitude for your future.

Wishing you a beautiful day!

With Love,
